All-Stars
We near and near the all-star break, and I'll put my current all-stars, though with a week to go, it will change
AL
OF: Alex Gordon
OF: Mike Trout
OF: Nick Markakis
SS: Jhonny Peralta
3B: Miguel Cabrera
2B: Howie Kendrick
1B: Chris Davis
C: Joe Mauer
DH: Kendrys Morales
Not many people are giving Alex Gordon the love I think he deserves. He has been solid offensively, batting .268 and he is a plus defender in left field, and the reason I put Markakis over Jones is because Markakis is a natural RF, so the defense definitely won't malfunction. Remember, its a game and you try to win it. Not all about the stats. Howie Kendrick has snuck up on me. He's having a very nice season, and no one has noticed. Surprising that two potential Angles all-stars and neither are Hamilton or Pujols. And Joe Mauer has been head and shoulders, and neck, above everyone else.

Where Can These QB's Go
Ryan Nassib needs go to the Bills. With both his OC and HC in Buffalo, he should be comfortable.
Geno Smith fit about all offenses , a running team, pocket team, a west coast, a throw it down the field. I think the browns will draft. I said the Eagles for a while, but I think the Browns will pull the trigger.
Matt Barkey is a fit with the Jets, west coast precision offense, but he needs to sit and watch a great QB and then blossom into a great QB. The Saints and Patriots make some sense, but the Jets make the most sense.
E.J. Manuel is a guy who can move around and play in the new offense in the NFL. The Eagles are the team I think E.J. can make the biggest difference with.
Landry Jones and the Bears. With Cutler's contract in the air, they have look and see who they can raise for a year in case Jay wanders off. Both these QB's are gunslingers, like Farve. They fit in the same offense, so that looks like a nice fit.
Colby Cameron. HA SURPRISE! I put my man Colby Cameron. This guy and the Patriots make sense. Whether someone is smart enough to draft is still begotten. This guy went point for point with Johnny Manziel. He can sling it, he's accurate, and we've seen small school QB's make it.
Matt Scott can be a top 10 mobile type QB, if in the right system. The Cowboys system fits a QB who improvises and makes the big plays. Scott may have to be traded or Romo cut, but he will make it in this league.
Tyler Wilson is like Matt Scott, but Scott need some time to nourish and become a great one, Wilson can step in and be a productive starter. I say the Chiefs would be a great spot for him.
Tyler Bray is not on my radar for one of the better QB's, but anyone can succeed with help. With other teams takene away, I put this guy with the Vikings. He can give Ponder a good run for his money.
Mike Glennon can be a difference maker on offense, especially with Bruce Arians. HINT*HINT*. The Cardinals will be a great spot for him. With Big Ben and Luck QBing his last two times out, he likes the big guys. Glennon is big, though has less mobility than them, but he cans till make it.

Mock Draft: 1-16
1. Chiefs: Luke Joekel OT Texas A&M
Even though I don't believe in Alex Smith, they handed him the reins, and he'll need a protector, plus with Albert being traded, they'll need a new tackle.
2. Jaguars: Star Lotulelei DT Utah
The Jaguars are in position to do two things, take the best player available, or trade out, and Star Lotulelei is an excellent protege.
3. Raiders: Shariff Foyd DT Florida
Shariff Floyd is an explosive defensive tackle, and with a terrible defense,
they need anything to improve upon it.
4. Eagles: Geno Smith QB WVU
If a team is in need of a QB, and they're is a QB much better than all the others, you have to take it.
5. Lions: Eric Fisher OT Centrel Michigan
After loosing both starting tackles, they're going to need to replenish their o-line.
6. Browns: Dion Jordan DE/OLB Oregon
With the signing of Kruger, they'll need a guy who can line up across from him, especially with Gocong cut.
7. Cardinals: Lane Johnson OT Oklahoma
This O-Line is absolutely horrendous. Now with Palmer at the helm, this OT definitely a solid guy.
8. Bills: Ryan Nassib QB Syracuse
I've been high on this connection, and with a week before the draft, the tension is rising. Kevin Kolb can go suck a d**k for all anyone cares, he's not gonna be the starter at the beginning of the season. With his college OC and HC there, he should be comfortable.
9. Jets: Barkevious Mingo DE/OLB LSU
The Jets like to take risks in the draft, and this guy could be one of the most risky guys at the DE position.
10. Titans: D.J. Fluker OT/OG Alabama
This lineman can play on the interior and on the outside. With David Stewart probably leaving, he'll have to take over right tackle duties.
11. Chargers: Jonathan Cooper OG North Carolina
This offensive-line is absolutely terrible, and they need help on all the parts of their line. Especially with Kris Dielman's surprise retirement.
12. Dophins: Kenny Vaccaro S Texas
I do think this a little high for a solid starting safety, but when most of the o-lingman are off the board, they'll have to hit another need.
13. Jets: Cordarelle Patterson WR Tenneessee
Most SMART team (Ansel) would choose the established and sturdy Tavon Austin, but since this is the Jets, we have to see at least one more year of Rex Ryan stupidity, this would be the worst pick of the 1st round.
14. Panthers: Sheldon Richardson DT Missouri
The Panthers have to plug the middle like I have to plug my nose. The middle of this defense was very bad, and Richardson is a solid DT, more athletic than the others.
15. Saints: Eziekiel Ansah DE BYU
I'm surprised that Ansah dropped this far, but I just don't like the take the best available in the top 10-12. This Saints defense was the epitome of a fluffy pillow defense. They would be average in college, and (just a joke) would lose to a pee-wee team because of their defense. Ansah is a great fit here.
16. Rams Tavon Austin WR WVU
Walterfootball.com said that they couldn't see Austin getting past 16, neither can I. The Rams are a pitiful offense, and Sam Bradford boasts Jared Cook as his best target. That cannot be the case. They need a guy who can just generate some energy.

Top 10 QB's
Top 10 QB's
1. Geno Smith: He has the arm and the height, maybe a little cuddled in college, but with help from an OC, he'll be a great QB.
2. Ryan Nasisb: He's got one of the top arms in the draft. Maybe he lacks touch and foot work, but no QB in this draft is perfect.
3. Matt Barkley: Everyone knows he doesn't have the arm, but of all the QB's, I think he's the smartest and has the best feet work.
4. E. J. Manuel: He's been climbing up my list for a couple weeks now, I think he can be the next Big Ben. He's big, tall and strong. The only thing I can really say he's at the bottom tier of is football protection.
5. Tyler Wilson: He reminds a lot of Tony Romo. He's a creator, and both of these players were on @$$ teams. Wilson has the potential to be the guy who carries a team.
6. Mike Glennon: He has been a very tough guy to grade because I see great arm strength, but he lacks mobility and accuracy.
7. Matt Scott: The Arizona QB has proven a lot over the past few months. He's got athleticism and good arm strength, and he has leadership attributes late in game situations, the thing that puts him over the top is the bowl game. Coming back from a double digit Nevada lead, and bringing them back to win
8. Zac Dysert: He, as long with Eric Fisher, come out of smaller conferences. Though the competition was lacking, the arm strength and ability to create, he really makes me think of Big Ben, though Big Ben was a top 10 pick, he will probably go in the 4th or 5th. They just seem so similar in their game and the college they came from.
9. Tyler Bray: Bray has the potential to be a top 10 QB, I mean I see potential in this guy. But the inconsistency is what leaves me wondering. He's 6-7, but has a small frame (like KD). He just cannot make the accurate throws consistency.
10. Jordan Rodgers: He reminds me of B.J. Coleman, a guy who has talent, but isn't ready to make the start. Plus, having Aaron rogers your older brother bodes well for you. Remember, Rodgers sat for 3 years, hopefully the same will happen for his bro.

DRAFT RECAP
With the NFL draft coming up, I have some sleepers and some overrated players:
Barret Jone's is a very versatile OL with a lot of potential, he could be a OG, OT, or OC in the NFL
Matt Scott has solid mobility and shows good accuracy, plus in the bowl game, it takes a lot of leadership to rally a team back in under a minute
Aaron Dobson is one of the most solid WR prospects in the draft, a complete player with speed and height. He reminds me of Kenny Britt without the craziness
Gavin Escobar is a solid pass catching TE, and most TE aren't that good at blocking, so he can make up for that. As a 2nd or 3rd rounder, he'll make a lot of sense and give you solid numbers
Jonathan Cyprien should not slip from the 1st round, but he may because the team was so f**king bad. He was a 4 year stater, very smart, and a solid leader
Margus Hunt is a big, athletic guy. Those kinds of DE make it in the NFL. (Pierre-Paul, Julius Peppers, and Calais Campbell). Most say he's a 2nd rounder, but I could see the Falcons take him in the 1st, and maybe, or even a team desperate for a pass-rush, say the Titans, or even the Lions.
There will be some overrated and over drafted
Obviously QB will be over drafted, and I'm not saying I don't like Smith, but as a top 10 pick, that is not a spot for a guy who has problems with calling plays, leadership, and foot work.
Ezikeil Ansah is not worth a top 5pick, and I am reluctant to say he'll go in the top ten. He didn't know how to play football a couple years ago, how can you trust the rawest player in the draft to be an impact player.
The production never came from Dion Jordan, therefore, I say top 3 is a little early. I respect Todd McShay, but Dion Jordan is not the 2nd best player in the draft.
Ryan Nassib will be over drafted at 8, I have him going at 8. Marrone and Nassib have a deep relationship, they could have sucess, but things are diffeernt at the next level.

Yanks: They good, bro
I don't know why everyone is hating on the Yankees lineup, I think its really good. Travis Hafner and Juan Rivera combined for 21 HR. If you can squeeze that out of them in a small ball park, and then get Mark Texeira back to hit 30-35 HR, and the OF is very talented and deep. Brennan Boesch was surprisingly released by the Tigers last week, and the Yankees got him in their, he hit .240/.286/.372 last year with 12 HR and 54 RBI. Those are good stats for a guy whose going to be a backup. When they do get Granderson back, this team could potentialy get the 2nd or 1st wild card. Sorry Yankee fans, but I don't see them winning the Division, the Rays, Blue Jays and Red Sox are just too competetive and talented to not have one of them win the division.

FA begins
As FA starts today, a lot of signings have started today. Here are a few:
Andy Levitre- Titans
Delanie Walker- Titans
Anthony Fasano- Chiefs
Paul Kruger- Browns
Phil Loadholt- Vikings
Louis Vazquez- Broncos
Martellus Bennett- Bears
Mike Wallace- Dolphins
Gosder Cherilus- Lions
My favorite sighning is Andy Levitre, now we can focus on some more important positions. The Bears, who are desperate for TE help, sign Martellus Bennett. This is a great pickup. Anither failing TE, Jared Cook, could probably land in Miami, now that Fasano is gone.

NFL WR
As the NFL starts FA in a week, I see Wes Welker coming off the board earlier than the others. He's an older guy, but still skilled and productive, and Tom Brady needs him. Two guys who I love this season are Danny Woodhead and Danny Amendola. The two match up nightmares, and the market for slot receivers is not that high money-wise.
Danny Amendola Favorites: Rams, Falcons, Patriots
Danny Woodhead Favorites: Titans, Patriots, Vikings
Mike Wallace can rip apart a secondary and get over the top in a flash. A team that needs a top receiver is the young and growing Dolphins. I like that idea, giving Tannehill a guy who can get Brian Hartline open over the middle, or a slot guy that they draft or sign. Anthony Fasano also finding some room. What I don't get is that the Jags, who have decent cap room, aren't in any of the big named player talks. The Bills got Mario Williams last year, so the Jags sould be throwing money at some big star. Another rout they could take is trading Cecil Shorts for a good QB. Jake Locker, Matt Flynn, Matt Cassel and even Christian Ponder are very possible destinations for a Cecil trade.

Mock Reasoning
I was very high on Eugene Smith, but after thinking hard about Andy Reid, I think they will have a competition with Nick Foles, Matt Cassel, and a rookie from the 3rd or 4th round, so a blind-side OT will keep whoever is playing QB healthy
Jarvis Jones is a very talented pass rusher and the only thing that the Jaguars need more than a decent QB is a pass-rush, and with Terrence Knighton being an older free-agent, he won't go back to a losing team
Star Lotulelei is a typical NT type DL. The Raiders were over all a bad defense, so getting a guy who plug up the midddle and learn to pass-rush under Dennis Allen could help this defense. Plus, Richard Seymour is not coming back. From Walter Football's mouth, Tommy Kelly is a bum.
Dee Milliner is an ultra talented corner. Nnamdi Asoughma is a bum who will be cut and dropped on his head. DRC is going to leave in free-agency. Losing their two starting corners will affect them a lot.
The lions are going to lose at least half of their 6-7 free agent defensive starters. Cliff Avril is a great DE, but the money needed to get him back is going to drive this team broke, and having already lost Kyle Vanden Bosch, no one is starting at DE. The only way to rebuild is to draft well, look at theColts and Bengals
Bjoern Werner is a very talented DE, and after cutting Frostee Rucker (not a difference maker, though) they'll need a new starter
Geno Smith is by far the most complete QB in this years class, and a team has to have a good QB to start a good team, he's got a good arm and can get the ball in any guys hand
Doug Marrone is the new coach, and coaches will make reaches, whether they work or not is a totally a different story (49ers reach for Alex Smith, and Jets reach for Mark Sanchez). Marrone knows Nassib, and he is very good in his system, which is also a pro-style offense. If the Bills are going to contend, they're going to need a QB that they're going to trust
Barkeviuos Mingo is a very talented pass-rusher, but if a team like the Patriots or Colts were here, they wouldn't take him because of the risk, the Jets are a team that we will think will take those risks. If they can finally find someone who pays off, maybe they will contend in 2-3 years
My Tiatns need a guy who can defend on the inside. Even though we need CB, and DE, the O-Line is important for winning games in the NFL

The San Diego Chargers are a team in need of talent on both lines. The O-Line has been bad for a while now, so I'd say its a best bet that they'll take an OT with their 1st round pick. Not a big name, but can be a solid guy protecting a declining Phillip Rivers
The Dolphins are a very talented team that, if they add some offensive talent with all that cap space, they can grab a lot of quality players, and maybe a superstar in Mike Wallace, but in the draft, I say they decide to take Keenen Allen, 6' 3" and a good runner, great fit
The secondary was horrendous, they couldn't defend anyone, and this class doesn't have a great stand out CB behind Dee Milliner, and unles they trade up to 3, they won't be able to take a shut down guy, so Jonathan Banks is not that calliber of a receiver
The middle of this defense is weak, and adding a great, athletic DT to help stop that run
Dion Jordan is a great talent, who has awesome athleticism, the defense was bad, and Will Smith is a washed up bum, and having two good DE will make the back end of that defnse much better

NFL Coaches
The Tennessee Titans have a lot of problems, and adding Gregg Williams will only make it worse. This fool tryed to kill people on the field, and the Titans are a passive defense, too passive, if I may add. I don't know anything about the coaches from down under, but I know that Gregg Willimas doesn't belong in the NFL. If I were the Jaguars needed a guy who could coach offense. They should have hired Chip Kelley because they don't have a QB, and they can ind one that can fit his offense. The Jags don't have an offense, and Chip would have been able to choose the guys on his team, maybe Ryan Applin and Kenjon Barner, maybe give Darren Thomas another chance.

The Giants need a guy who can cover. Even though Jordan Poyer isn't the mega menacing, intimidating, he should be a nice addition to a secondary that was made of quantity, not quality
The Bears have a terribly bad OL, but with the signing of Marc Trestman, a few more OL are going to do the trick
Washington had a horrendous secondary last year, and if they are going to compete in the future, they're going to need a CB that can take on the bigger receivers, like Hakeem Nicks
Kevin Williams isn't who he used to be, and Letroy Guoin is a solid #2, so Bennie Logan is should be ready for the NFL being a DT in LSU
The offense is awesome, with Dalton, Green, Sanu, Jarvis-Green Ellis, and Gresham. The front 7 is better than awesome, with Atkins, Johnson, Dunlap, and Maualaga. The secondary, though, is not awesome, Dre Kirkpatrick was a flop, and the safeties are older, so a new, and younger CB would be nice
This team doesn't have many needs other than WR, and picking up two receivers early in the draft would make this team a bigger competitor
At this point, I don't see a S worth the Ravens pick, but Desmond Trufant is a talented CB, could be a good NFL S, or CB.
Dujuan Harris isn't a one back, neither is Cedric Benson or James Starks. Lacey is a power guy that could help them kill games late
The interior DL, and DE aren't as good as they should be, So a guy in the middle would help very much
Ben Tate is a FA, and they cannot pay two backs top dollar, so a cheap replacement is very much needed
Justin Smith was very important to this entire D, and replacing him will be hard, so I think Kewann Shorts is just the beginning
The Pats secondary was very bad last year, and with Aliq Talib's future in doubt, they're going to need another guy in the secondary
This team needs a back, and Rodgers will ease him into the starting role
The Broncos lost because of the secondary

Ryan Nassib is a guy i trust with my team, but not outstanding, so i say he goes 2nd round to a team that died
The Chiefs could use a receiver so mcluster can be a true slot guy, and even though he's 5'' 8', he plays like he's 6'' 4', and he has a great ralationship with Geno Smith
Kurt Coleman is just bad, they'll need a new S to help them in this rebuilding period
Kyle Van Dan Boesch is old, and Cliff Avril will be very expensive, but they have time to develope this guy, so Ansah would be a perfect pick
Chris Croler is old, and Reggie Nelson is'nt the best, so a new, young safety can be very useful
Tyler Wilson cannot be successful at the next level without good protection
Micheal Griffin shouldn't be on the team next year, I wish we could get Matt Elam, but he's not going in the almost mid 2nd round
Terence Williams is very fast and pretty big, the Bills need another guy who can go out there with Steve Johnson and be productive down field for Mike Glennon
After Yeremiah Bell left, I was afraid of a possible problem, and i think adding some good depth can never hurt
Dallas Clark is very old, and there are no other mentinable TE's on the team, Eifert is great in jump ball situations, and with Freeman QB, he may need that
I don't talk about OL, but Carolina needs to protect better
Same thing, this OL is disgusting
Steven Jackson is a FA in the summer, and Darryl Richardson and Isaih Pead are not starter RB's
Senasabaugh is the only starting safety on the team, and you can'y play single high with Manning, Foles, Cousins, and GriffinIII
Redman and Dwyer are power 1st and 2nd down backs, they need a versitile guy who can catch passes and screens, and they may have Chris Rainy, but I don't feel he can be the reliable guy

The way Mike Glennon struggled against Vandy, but to admit, the protection was very bad and NC state threw the ball 53 times, so the running game was unused, I saw the game, and I saw some potential. I think that there will be 5 rookie QBs starting next year, Kansas City, New York Jets, Arizona, and Buffalo, Jaksonville. Oakland can be another one, but I trust that Crason Palmer can negotiate a new contract with the Raiders. Alex Smith and Mike Vick are backups, if they start, I will conplain to the idiots that made the stupidest decision ever. Geno Smith to the Chiefs, Tyler Wilson to Arizona, Mike Glennon to Buffalo, and Matt Barkley to the dreadful, hated, and more wins than expected, New York Jets. If you disagree, post a comment

I'm a huge Tampa Bay Rays fan, and I think that Wil Myers should come right out of the gates and play CF. Sam Fuld is a great defender and solid on the bases, but he's a asset when in comes to hitting, and what the Rays need is a 2nd big time hitter, thus the trade was made for that purpose.
Tampa Bay Rays
Depth Chart 2013
CF: Wil Myers
LF: Desmond Jennings
RF: Matt Joyce
3B: Evan Longoria
2B: Ben Zobrist
1B: James Loney
SS: Yunel Escobar
C: Jose Lobaton
DH: Ryan Roberts
This is my personal assessment of what the current Rays depth chart should be.
Tampa Bay Rays Rotation
1 David Price
2 Matt Moore
3 Alex Cobb
4 Jeremy Hellickson
5 Jake Odorizzi
I don't have faith that Nieman can make a full recovery and be the same pitcher he was, so the young blood got to go out and proof himself.
